BARTALON NAMED DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
FOR DAVE THOMAS FOUNDATION FOR ADOPTION
(DUBLIN, OH) October 15, 2007 – Kate A. Bartalon was recently named Development Director for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. In her role with the Foundation, Bartalon will be responsible for managing major gift campaigns and donor relations.
Prior to joining the Dave Thomas Foundation, Bartalon was executive director of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Columbus, Ohio chapter. During her tenure, Bartalon was responsible for managing the foundation’s strategic development and fundraising operations including a regional major gifts campaign.
“Kate’s experience in fundraising at the regional level and leadership in development of an annual giving campaign are a great asset to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and critical to our overall mission strategy,” said Rita L. Soronen, executive director. “We look forward to her contributions as we seek to broaden our outreach and fundraising activities.”
Prior to working for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Bartalon was executive director for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio and Kentucky.
