2008 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces List100 BEST ADOPTION-FRIENDLY WORKPLACES
Each year, the Foundation announces a list of the employers with the best adoption benefits in the nation. Rankings are based on the amount of financial reimbursement and paid leave for employees who adopt. Honorees include the top 100, the top ten by size and the top five in each industry. To register for the list, complete our adoption benefits survey. To propose or establish adoption benefits, order our free toolkit.
The 2008 Winner: Wendy's International, Inc.
Headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, Wendy's International, Inc. offers up to $23,300 in financial reimbursement and up to six weeks of paid leave for employees who adopt. Wendy's was among more than 50 companies who enhanced or established adoption benefits as a result of what they learned from the Foundation's first Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace list in 2007.
