On November 27, the Foundation’s President & CEO, Rita Soronen, participated on a panel for the U.S. Senate Caucus on Foster Youth with leaders from Child Trends, Buckner International and C.A.S.E. She shared how through the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, the Foundation is making significant progress in our commitment to finding forever families for the more than 123,000 children waiting to be adopted from foster care in the United States.

“It was an honor to be on the panel with these dedicated and passionate professionals working to assure permanent homes for our youth,” Ms. Soronen said.

The event was organized by U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, chair of the Caucus.
