The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption commissioned Child Trends, a national, nonprofit research organization, to learn how some of the youth adopted through the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program are faring (data collected October 2014-January 2018).

On many metrics, the young people who participated in the Child Trends study are doing as well as their peers in the general population based on other national research of young adults.
