Kidsave’s EMBRACE Project: Informing improved outcomes for Black children in foster care

In collaboration with the Gallup Center on Black Voices, Kidsave launched findings of The EMBRACE Project, a national study to uncover and reduce the gap between the number of older Black youth in foster care and the number of Black families mentoring, fostering and adopting these children.

EMBRACE, which stands for Expanding Meaningful Black Relationships And Creating Equity, will help inform conversations about how to make the foster care system work better for and with Black communities.

The Foundation was proud to support this important research.
