After spending six years in foster care, Tonya began to give up hope that she would ever be adopted. “I didn’t think that I would have a family or anyone who would want to be with me,” she shares.

Fortunately, Tonya was adopted when she was 12 years old through the Foundation’s Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program. Her Wendy’s Wonderful Kids adoption recruiter, Tiffany, was dedicated to finding the right family for Tonya. “I’m glad that I have a family that actually wants me and loves me as much as I love them,” Tonya says.
