At a time when many high school students are looking to the future with excitement, Xavier was worried about what was going to happen when he left a group home. “My biggest fear was that I was going to age out of foster care and not know how to be sufficient on my own,” he shared. Thankfully Xavier was adopted just two weeks before his 18th birthday.
