How Roof Maxx Is Helping Children Waiting for Forever Homes
While on a trip to Mexico, Mike Feazel, co-founder and CEO of Roof Maxx, witnessed the harsh realities of child neglect. That experience left a lasting impression — and inspired him to create positive change for children and youth in the communities Roof Maxx serves.
“Our CEO, Mike Feazel, wanted to have a purpose for the company,” said Allen Clements, Content Strategist at Roof Maxx.
That purpose came to life in January 2024, when Mike and the Roof Maxx team chose the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption as their select giving partner.
“At our company, it’s important to have a cause,” Mike said. “I see the people at the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, and their heart is definitely in their cause. So, it was easy to make it our cause.”
Roof Maxx generously pledged to donate a portion of product sales to benefit the Foundation’s mission. The company also introduced an inspiring Giving Pledge: “When you restore your roof with Roof Maxx, you help find a forever home for a child waiting in foster care.”
But their support doesn’t stop there. Roof Maxx employees and dealers are leaning in to learn more about the Foundation’s life-changing work and spreading the word to customers about the urgent need for foster care adoption.
“The fact that we get to [help] put children waiting in foster care in forever homes … it’s made what we do every day so much more meaningful,” Allen shared.
The Foundation is deeply grateful to the entire Roof Maxx family for helping make a permanent home a reality for more children in foster care.
“Roof Maxx was born out of a desire to help homeowners extend the lifespan of their roof,” said Mike. “Now we are also creating life-changing opportunities for children.”

Thanks to caring partners like Roof Maxx, the Foundation can continue expanding programs, like Wendy’s Wonderful Kids®, and serve more children still waiting for their forever family.
